Communication is of prime importance with regard to development of one’s personality.

Communication skills involve interaction with others, especially those with whom we want to improve our relationship, education as well as the workplace.

 

 How can we develop our communication skills? 

  • Learn the fundamentals of communication skills: Communication involves sending and receiving messages between two people or more. This can be done in many ways by words, non verbal actions or gestures. It helps us to establish and improve our relationship to a large extent.

  • Engage the person you interact: Learn to communicate by using effective words, eye contact and body language so that what you communicate is received and interpreted in the right manner.
  • Develop effective listening skills: This is the most important aspect of developing good communication skills. Listening to what is being said to you is very important since it determines the success of this interaction.
